This May, Rest for Resistance is offering space to queer and trans people of color (QTPoC) who are living with highly stigmatized mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, PTSD, personality disorders, dissociative identity disorder (DID) & more.

We want to share your perspectives on healing, emotional challenges and wellness. How does oppression intersect with your diagnoses? How do your experiences of mental illness differ from the mainstream stereotypes? No need to give advice or keep it positive.

The writing we feature isn't limited by genre. Essays and short stories average 1000 to 1250 words. Please submit all writing as a .docx file, email subject "May Submission: [Your Name]".

Deadline: Saturday, May 5th

Artist portfolios also welcome in our inbox!

All featured contributors will be paid $50.
