Accessibility

Rest Fest aims to collectively channel healing energy for QTBIPOC+ by creating events for those living at the intersection of queerness, racialization, and pathologization to be cared for.

Within Rest Fest, do not judge anyone who is talking to themself, non-verbal, stimming, or expressing themself in atypical ways. Tone policing, and otherwise demanding specific behaviors of other attendees, will not be tolerated.

If you feel disrespected or uncomfortable with another attendee, contact the care and/or safety teams.

Our event space includes first aid, a harm reduction area, a changing and chest-feeding tent, and crisis and decompression spaces that allow multiple options to rest in privacy.

An ASL interpreter will be present to support Deaf and hard of hearing community members.

We will also provide a pedicab from the Prospect Park B/Q/S subway station to our event space. Meet the driver Alex at the Lincoln Rd. and Ocean Ave. entrance.
